TAMPA, Fla. — Wicked Pictures’ “The Hunger” has scored the award for Best Feature Film at the 33rd Annual NightMoves Awards.
Directed by Claudia Ross and written by Axel Braun, the release “follows Lauren (Emma Hix), a woman whose seemingly perfect life is overshadowed by an insatiable and uncontrollable desire she calls ‘The Hunger,’” said a rep. “Despite her loving marriage, she is driven by compulsive sexual impulses that lead her into increasingly dangerous encounters with strangers. A highly psychological erotic drama, ‘The Hunger’ marked Ross’ directorial debut.”
Ross enthused about the recognition.
<p“This win is incredibly meaningful to me,” she said. “‘The Hunger’ was a true labor of love. It’s a story that explores desire, vulnerability, and the complexities of human connection. Every member of the cast and crew brought extraordinary dedication to it, and I’m grateful to Wicked for believing in our vision from the very start. To see that collaboration and creative risk recognized by NightMoves is both humbling and inspiring.”
